As the countdown to SEMA 2022 began, the team at Autofiber was hard at work preparing for the biggest auto show of the year. Among their many new product releases was the MEGAnought Twist Pile Microfiber Drying Towel, a 69"x42" behemoth version of the revolutionary Dreadnought drying towel, which was sure to turn heads.

The MEGAnought was designed as a limited-edition-gag-display-product, meant to get a laugh out of visitors to the Autofiber booth. Its size was meant to be over-the-top and ridiculous, but as the team at Autofiber soon discovered, everyone wanted one.

Many detailers and car enthusiasts came by the booth and demand for the giant microfiber towel soared. Despite being a limited edition gag product, Autofiber was inundated with requests for the MEGAnought, and they quickly went into production to meet the demand.

"This towel is awesome, I have a F150 and it works great drying the hood, roof and all windows plus my tonnuea cover in one pass. The only negative is it gets heavy once it gets wet other than that I love using it on large vehicles."

The BEST drying towel ever!

"This towel is actually AMAZING! No longer do I have a hard time drying the top of my car. I just toss the towel on the hood and pull it (alternating sides) all the way back to the trunk and everything that was difficult to do before with a smaller towel, is super easy! Then the towel can easily dry all the rest of the car. It could probably dry off a 2nd car as well. Such an excellent & high quality product! I personally love the pink color too! :)"

"This giant towel drys my GMC Yukon SLT in 3 passes. I've been using 2 standard drying towels. Yeah you need to be careful drying the sides not to drag it on the ground but I love it for bigger vehicles."
