Saver Applicators help address a common application problem: liquid product soaking through the outer fabric into the applicator's inner layers. Autofiber's barrier-layer construction limits that transfer, keeping more product available at the application surface.

How the Saver Barrier Works

In Saver sponge applicators, a hydrophobic barrier sits between the microfiber and foam core. Other Saver formats use the same principle to limit transfer between fabric layers.

This construction is designed to reduce unnecessary absorption while supporting controlled product spreading. Performance depends on the chemical, application method, and amount loaded onto the tool.

Terry microfiber provides a textured application face, while suede offers a smoother surface. Half-terry/half-suede designs let you compare both on one applicator.

Manage Application and Leveling Separately

Prepare the surface thoroughly and follow the coating manufacturer's instructions for application, working time, and leveling.

Keep suitable paint and coating towels ready for removing excess product. Replace applicators when they become contaminated or when curing product makes them stiff or tacky.
