Keep Each Wipe Clean

Fold your towel into quarters and rotate to a fresh section as residue builds up. Keep several clean towels within reach, and separate compound-removal towels from those reserved for final wipes. Test your towel and wiping technique on a small area, especially when working with sensitive paint. If wiping causes micro-marring, reassess towel cleanliness, yarn softness, and pressure before continuing.
